Humanoid robot - A humanoid robot is a robot with its overall appearance based on that of the human body. In general humanoid robots have a torso with a head, two arms and two legs, although some forms of humanoid robots may model only part of the body, for example, from the waist up.
Humanoid - The term "humanoid" refers to any being whose body structure resembles that of a human. In this sense, the term describes non-human hominids and indeed most primates, as well as mythological creatures and artificial organisms (robots), especially in the context of science fiction and fantasy fiction.
Robot fetishism - Robot fetishism is the name popularly used to describe a fetishistic attraction to humanoid or non-humanoid robots or people dressed in robot costumes. A related fetish is statuephilia or agalmatophilia, which involves attraction to mannequins or statues.
